Hospitality veteran Robert Weakley has played a pioneering role in the emergence of the regulated cannabis market. Together with co-founder Mark Ainsworth and the management team, Mr. Weakley brought the vision for INDUS to the industry in 2014 by developing Altai as its first brand of edibles.
A 20-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Mr. Weakley experience in large-scale epicurean event planning led to the founding of annual Pebble Beach Food & Wine festival, as well as the Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival and Harvest: Farm to Table. Mr. Weakley has also established several award-winning restaurants, including Rose Rabbit Lie in Las Vegas, and Faith & Flower in Los Angeles. Mr. Weakley’s active local presence and involvement has made him an important participant in the Salinas-area business community.
